drumMUSTER

Council provides all farm chemical users throughout the District with a drum collection service - drumMUSTER. The drumMUSTER collection operates in July and October each year.

This service has been successfully run over the past few years, and enables farm chemical users to return their empty, cleaned, non-returnable, steel and plastic farm chemical containers to the drumMUSTER collection centre at Cummins.

Containers must be:-

  • Triple rinsed
  • Clean & dry (no chemical residue)
  • Declared clean when delivered
  • Lids removed
  • Metal drums should be punctured

For further information on this National Program you may also visit the drumMUSTER site.
